Arrival

After hours of flight filled with expectation and exhaustion, your life in Japan begins when you are welcomed by our representatives at Kansai International Airport (KIX).
A combination of limousine bus and train service provides transportation from KIX to the Hirakata area. However, most of the newly arriving students can take a reserved shuttle bus from KIX to one of our dormitories. Approximately two hours of limousine bus ride will bring you to Hirakata city, where most of your academic and social activities will take place.

You will temporarily stay at our dormitories until the end of the orientation program. As all of the newly arriving students are accommodated in the dormitories during this period, you may feel that space is somewhat limited. Nonetheless, this will be your first encounter with Japan's "modest-sized" but "cozy" living environment.
Upon arrival at Kansai Gaidai, the first thing to do is to pick up the information packet for the Orientation Program at the Center for International Education, which gives you specific instructions on placement tests, payment of fees, course registration, and so on.
