OsakaOsaka has been a major center of commerce since the eighteenth century, and is still a vast and expanding hub of business and industry today. Historically known as a merchant city, Osaka was the “nation’s kitchen” during the Edo period. The metropolis exhibits many colorful aspects as can be seen in the competition for bigger and showier street signs which are on display in Minami (the southern part of the downtown district). As a center of pop culture, Osaka never ceases to generate a variety of new trends and give birth to new dimensions of the urban experience in Japan.KobeKobe, located on the north shore of Osaka Bay, is one of the most important ports in Japan. After the opening of the port in 1868, many foreign settlements were established making Kobe one of the first cities in Japan to be introduced to foreign culture. Because of its long-term function as a harbor city, shipbuilding and heavy industries have developed along with popular sites like the Koshien baseball stadium, home of the Hanshin Tigers, and host to the annual summer high school baseball tournament.大阪神戸Hirakata30 mins by trainKyotoHirakata30 mins by trainOsakaHirakata1 hour by trainsNaraHirakata1 hour 30 mins by trainsKobe13
