Housing Information
Kansai Gaidai offers its international students two types of housing arrangements: homestay or residence hall (Global Commons -YUI-).
If you would like to stay at own apartment, please arrange it on your own. Kansai Gaidai will not arrange off-campus housing. (Please note that a "full-exchange/tuition and housing exchange" student is not allowed to choose off-campus housing.)
Be sure to complete and submit the online “Housing Questionnaire” by the designated deadline. If we do not receive your online questionnaire by the deadline, we will automatically assign you in Residence Hall as your semester accommodation.

If you would like to choose “Residence Hall” as your semester accommodation, please read the Residence Hall Information, Residence Hall Rules and Regulations before you fill out the online questionnaire. We will send housing confirmation mail to you in early August.
[Would-be Homestay Participants]
Be sure to read and understand our Homestay Expectations on Homestay Information. In order to avoid the confusion caused by last-minute cancellations, the homestay placements are not finalized until immediately before the beginning of the semester. Therefore, homestay assignments are announced to students during the orientation week after arrival at Kansai Gaidai.
