This page has been created to assist those students who have requested dormitory for housing. For students who will be participating in the homestay program, further announcements will be made via e-mail by the homestay coordinator.
Seminar House accommodations are available only for officially admitted/enrolled students at Kansai Gaidai University. An application for residence must be processed by the Center for International Education. If the number of students wishing to stay in the Seminar House exceeds its capacity in any given period of time (during the semester and during the winter break), priority will be given according to the following order:
Students on full-exchange programs
Students participating from full-exchange institutions, whose enrollment status have been changed to tuition-only exchange programs
Students on tuition-only exchange programs
Students on term/year programs
Please carefully note that new incoming students will be granted priority over continuing students in each of the above categories.
We have secured a room for you at one of our Seminar Houses. In order for us to make room assignments, please follow the procedures below:
Visit SEMINAR HOUSE INFORMATION to obtain information on the dormitories.
Access K-GENESYS, click on "Housing Questionnaire". Choose "Residence Hall" for Final Housing Preference and press "Questions for Residence Hall Students".
Complete and submit the online "Questions for Residence Hall Students" no later than 8:00pm(JST), Monday, December 5, 2016.
Complete the Seminar House Reservation Fee payment from OPS(Kansai Gaidai Online Payment System) between Tuesday, January 10 and Friday, January 20. [Not applicable for the Full Exchange Students]
Please note that if we do not receive your online "Questions for Residence Hall Students" and Seminar House Reservation fee(if applicable) by the deadlines, we will automatically assign you to a dormitory. If you do not need to stay in one of our dormitories, please let us know as soon as possible.
