Kiyomizu-Dera

What's up??
My name is Maria and I come from Barcelona, Spain. I was born 25 years ago, 20 months after my brother, in a Colombian mother and Spanish father family.

Japan is not my first experience living abroad and I'm pretty sure it won't be the last one.
I've learnt not to have many expectations about what are you going to find, because you never know, and the less pre-conceived ideas you have, the more you will enjoy the country since the very beginning.
I arrived at Tokyo on the 23rd August. I stayed at my cousin's place for three days, so my first impression was very nice, and I always have the feeling that he is near by, to help me if I need it, although I need 2 hours by shinkansen to get there.

As it happens I don't need him that much because my flat mates are everything you can need or imagine. And besides them I've found lots of Japanese people, like the girls on the Kyoto tour, the nice people in the CIE office, and all the students in the university's lounges.

Hope you all are having a good time in Japan.
Enjoy Japan
