Courses provided in English solve the Japanese language problem.

The obstacle of the Japanese language may be one of the biggest reasons why international students from Asia do not choose to study in Japan as their favorite destination. Most Japanese universities require a high level of Japanese for degree-seeking international students to take part in classes, which may be a heavy burden for them.

That’s why we will offer the classes in English, and thus reduce language problems. Kansai Gaidai feels that this language problem should be solved not just by one university but also by many universities in Japan. Kansai Gaidai University already has a wide variety of classes offered in English. This will attract many potential students from Asia who would otherwise choose English-speaking countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom.

We are already offering all classes in English in the "Asian Studies Program" ("Ryugakusei Bekka") and will make efforts to offer more classes in English in other division of the university.
