The Super IES Program, preparing students to study abroad in their area of specialty

To effectively prepare students to study abroad in their area of specialty in their third year, our school offers the Super IES Program, an innovative English education program, to all students in their first and second years. Taught by faculty from the University of North Texas (USA), these small, proficiency-based classes allow students to develop the English proficiency and communication skills necessary for undergraduate courses at their host universities. Additionally, using a content-based approach, students acquire knowledge in specialized fields such as international relations and economics in English, fostering a broad skill set they can utilize in the field of business.

Obtaining expert knowledge and a well-rounded education through specialized research courses in three fields

We have established three specialized fields to equip students with the knowledge and well-rounded education required to contribute to the global community. Every student begins by studying the fundamentals of all three fields and later chooses to either specialize in one or a combination of multiple fields. In their fourth year, they conduct interdisciplinary research and present their academic achievements.

Professional English

Cultivating both an understanding of theoretical English and practical English skills

While studying English linguistics, students will develop a firm grasp of English they can utilize in a wide range of contexts, including in the global community, business, and education.

Global Business

Studying the mechanisms of global economics and business management

Studying business concepts and principles. Obtaining an understanding of the flow of people, goods, and capital in today’s society and developing the ability to apply this knowledge.

International General and Liberal Arts

Cultivating a broad skill set for success internationally

Developing a global perspective that makes deeper communication in any country or environment possible while acquiring an international education essential for success in today’s interconnected world.

Pursuing specialized studies through study abroad

In principle, every third-year student will participate in a one-year study abroad in their area of study※1

Students attend classes alongside local students at one of 413 partner universities across 55 countries and regions, deepening the specialized knowledge they acquired in their first and second years through courses taught in English. Those interested can also pursue longer programs of two years or more, such as dual-degree programs, earning bachelor’s degrees from both our university and the partner university, or studying abroad in two different countries.

Aiming to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the United States
USCPA Pathway Program
– Starting in 2025 –

A registered program designed for students aiming to qualify as U.S. Certified Public Accountants (USCPA), recognized nationwide. This program cultivates extensive knowledge and skills in areas such as accounting, auditing, finance, economics, and management. Passing the USCPA exam during enrollment significantly boosts prospects for employment at global companies.

Enhancing your ability to accurately interpret English texts through the study of English grammar

Students develop practical knowledge and skills in marketing and branding, learning how to strategically plan and implement product pricing, promotions, and distribution to effectively engage consumers. By exploring contemporary marketing concepts such as consumer psychology, influencer dynamics, and social media trends, students obtain an understanding of the evolution of marketing. (Classes are conducted in English.)

Students acquire fundamental bookkeeping skills essential in global business contexts.

They learn internationally recognized bookkeeping methods for documenting business activities and interpreting financial reports. By working through practical exercises equivalent to the JCCI's Official Business Skill Test in Book-keeping (3rd Grade), students build a solid foundation, also becoming familiar with English bookkeeping terminology crucial for global careers.
