    ENTRANCE GATE

    Flags from around the world line the entrance to the 50,000m² campus. From there, a stone walkway leads to a tranquil water feature and the entrance gate. The ceiling of the gate is covered with the same tile as the water feature, creating a unified aesthetic.

    TANIMOTO HALL

    On the south side of the entrance gate is TANIMOTO HALL, with a capacity of 782 people. Used for ceremonies and other events, it features a brick interior and is fully equipped with a sound system, giving it a museum-like atmosphere.

    ACADEMIC
    COMMONS
    (Classroom Building)

    The 5-story ACADEMIC COMMONS houses 60 classrooms ranging in size from 35 to 294 seats, featuring large glass windows. The classrooms lend themselves to a variety of teaching styles, from traditional lectures to group work. Faculty offices can also be found in this building.

    VILLA
    (Low-Rise Classroom Building Area)

    The Italian word VILLA was used to name this U-shaped area of classroom buildings that surrounds the grassy Garden Square. Its design allows for classes to be held from any direction, facilitating hands-on active learning.

    The Garden Square measures 43 meters east to west and 47 meters north to south and is surrounded by covered walkways that provide cover from the rain. Diagonal pathways cut through the space, giving the feel of a relaxing walk through town.

    OFFICE

    The OFFICE features six circular counters and an open layout with no dividers between departments, bringing students and faculty closer together and promoting a stronger sense of unity.

    GLOBAL COMMONS -YUI-

    GLOBAL COMMONS -YUI- is a place where international and Kansai Gaidai students live, learn, and eat together, fostering not only intercultural understanding but also problem-solving, self-management, and teamwork skills.

    The rooms are all single occupancy, grouped into units of either 23 or 27 rooms, with 27 units in total. There is also a staff office in the lobby where a staff member is present 24 hours a day.

    CAFÉ COMMONS

    CAFÉ COMMONS is a relaxed study space which includes a 7-Eleven on the 1st floor and CAFETERIA 1 on the 2nd floor.

    CAFETERIA 2

    With a capacity of 320 seats, it is the largest cafeteria on campus. The large windows allow natural light to fill the space, offering a bright setting where students, faculty, and staff can come together and enjoy meals and conversation. It serves as a vibrant space for both daily life and learning.

    LEARNING
    COMMONS

    On the west side of the campus is the 4-story LEARNING COMMONS. Its 2nd and 3rd floors serve as library spaces, with open stacks arranged for easy access to books and other materials. The reading rooms feature glass walls, creating a relaxed environment for reading and research.

    On the 4th floor is CAFÉ INCONTRO. Its outdoor terrace is perfect for taking a refreshing break from studying. On clear days, you can enjoy views of the Yodo River and Mount Rokko to the west, and the Ikoma mountain range to the east.
