Super IESプログラムは、徹底的に英語力を高める特別プログラム。関西外大が20年以上にわたり実績を積み重ねてきた、IES (Intensive English Studies) プログラムを進化・発展させました。英語キャリア学科では「90分×週７回×2年間」、外国語学部英米語学科では「90分×週12回×1年間」の英語教育プログラムです。
Super IES プログラムの目標は、「英語で専門分野を学ぶ」というワンランク上の留学を実現すること。「聞く」「話す」「読む」「書く」の英語の４技能の修得はもちろん、海外大学の授業についていくためのアカデミックスキルや専門分野の基礎知識もしっかり身に付けます。

授業はオールイングリッシュ。英語教育の専門家でもあるネイティブ教員が、実践的な指導を行います。

授業では「歴史学」や「社会学」といった専門分野にまつわるニュース記事や論文、海外大学のテキストなどを使用。英語力を磨きながら、時代にあった知識の修得にもつながります。

[Message from Faculty] Improve Language skills and learn about the world in Super IES
This program is designed for first-year students. During the spring and fall semesters, students take both language-based and content-based courses. In our language-based courses, students learn how to improve their English skills in reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary.
In our content-based courses, students broaden and deepen their knowledge of various academic topics such as global issues, world religions, current events, geography, science, history, and economics among others.
In addition to improving students’ English ability, this program aims to provide students with academic language proficiency, critical thinking skills, an appreciation of international cultures, and a deep understanding of major issues facing our world today.
