01 ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Applicants have graduated or expect to graduate by August 2025 from a degree-granting junior college (associate’s degree program) outside of Japan.
- Applicants have graduated or expect to graduate by August 2025 from a degree-granting university (bachelor’s degree program) outside of Japan.
- Applicants have been enrolled for at least two years in a bachelor’s degree program at a degree-granting university outside of Japan and have earned or expect to earn at least 62 credits* by August 2025.
- Applicants who are judged by the President of the Kansai Gaidai University (KGU) to have equivalent qualifications (eligibility) to those stated above.
*Credits will be calculated according to KGU’s credit conversion standards and must count toward the graduation requirements at KGU.

Applicants whose native language is not English must submit a certificate of TOEFL iBT® Test score of 94, IELTS 7.0, Cambridge 180, Pearson 67 or higher. However, this must be within two years prior to the application deadline.
