As a part of the College of Global Engagement I have been able to study and live in a very international environment where I got to learn more about different cultures through interacting with both international and local students. As someone who has been interested in intercultural communication and different cultures and languages, this experience has been really rewarding and very interesting! Additionally, as a CGE student we are encouraged to pursue our interests outside of class. I have been able to participate in various activities outside of class such as research groups, volunteering activities, and circle activities. Through these activities I could dig further into academic topics that interest me and build a community here through my hobbies and interests. All in all, as a part of the program, I have been able to have a fulfilling and rewarding college life in which I was able to pursue various interests, improve my language skills through real life interactions, and build a wide community both within and outside of school.
