Our program should inspire Japanese students to study in Asia and should change their attitude toward how they see Asia.
As the consortium becomes bigger and stronger, more universities will be joining our network. A stronger network among universities will be made by the active student exchange programs. We believe this will also strengthen cooperation among universities.
Our project will also provide more opportunities for Japanese students at Kansai Gaidai University to interact with international students from Asia. Japanese students will open their eyes toward Asia, and opportunities will inspire their minds and attitudes on how they view Asian societies.
Our project should provide advantages to both students under this program and the member universities, for students will have more opportunities to study in Asia and know about Asia.
Each university program will improve its educational environment by having more students from Asian countries. This opportunity should help to secure a global standard in the quality of education that each university provides. Kansai Gaidai students will have more opportunities to study with international students by taking classes in the Gakubu program (regular program for domestic Japanese students). We hope the Consortium will give Kansai Gaidai students further opportunities for study abroad and the opportunity to work in Asian countries.
