Kansai Gaidai University's Delegation (10 members headed by Board of Trustees President Dr. Eiko Tanimoto) visited 2 universities in the Republic of Korea - Pusan University of Foreign Studies (Busan) and Daejin University (suburb of Seoul) on February 15th and 16th.

Pusan University of Foreign Studies is one of the core universities of the ASEAN+3 University Consortium officially signed in March 2009, and from this university, Kansai Gaidai has welcomed the first dual-degree-seeking student under this program from February this year at the College of Foreign Studies/School of English Language and Communication (undergraduate program).

Daejin University expressed high interest towards this program and becoming a member institution, and emphasized their intention to expand international exchange with Kansai Gaidai.
