The Administrative Meeting was held on August 24 and 25 in Nakamiya Campus of Kansai Gaidai University, with the attendance of two people from four universities in Tianjin Foreign Studies University (the People’s Republic of China), Pusan University of Foreign Studies (the Republic of Korea ), Bangkok University (the Kingdom of Thailand), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Hochiminh City (the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam) and Kansai Gaidai University

Dr. Eiko Tanimoto, the President of the Board of Trustees, Kansai Gaidai University delivered an address of welcome. In her address, she stated, “In an increasingly globalized world, I wish many students grow up to be leaders who are proficient in English and responsible for the next generation in Asia.” She emphasized that “Universities of Foreign Studies in each country are working on the education of foreign languages by a similar curriculum. Due to that mobilize students exchange among universities and to produce citizens who have understanding different cultures and flexibilities to accommodate to live in a globalized world was the initial concept of the ASEA Plus Three: University Consortium. Thus studying abroad is and excellent opportunity for students.”

In the meeting, each university reported the current state of the approach, and shared the mechanism and selected Dual Degree between the participation universities and exchanged information on the syllabus of the class. Dr. Hiroyuki Toyota, Associate Professor of Sociology, stated that "The close partnership was able to be built by meeting together and discussing".
