Kansai Gaidai sends approximately 1,000 students abroad each year. We offer an extensive range of study abroad programs and provide substantial scholarships to help more students realize their goals of studying abroad.


Our network spans 55 countries and regions worldwide, totaling 419 affiliated institutions. (As of April 2025)


This is a non-repayable grant-type scholarship with no quota, available to anyone who meets the criteria.

Kansai Gaidai welcomes approximately 1,000 international students annually from 39 countries and regions around the world (2024 data). Interaction with these international students provides a great source of inspiration for our students, making the campus itself a true stage for international exchange.



The total number of students (undergraduate, graduate, and college) is 11,539. Of these, 3,777 are male and 7,762 are female.
