Hello friends!
This is Ophir from Israel.

While buying street food can be challenging in the current situation, here are some common snacks that are available.

What do you think? Does it remind you of anything in your country?
Notice how Hebrew writings looks a lot like Katakana??

On the left of the picture you can see almonds. This one is unglazed, but we also like to eat seasoned ones!
(usually sweetened or salted, it depends on your preference).
To the right there are 2 different kinds of chips. The kawaii kuma (cute bear shaped chips) are indeed Israeli and not from Japan! Interesting right?
The white choco-bar in the picture is actually an Israeli version of KitKat, although we have an original KitKat too. We also have "Click", which is a biscuit ball coated with chocolate.

Finally, to the right, in the blue bowl is one of the most famous Israeli snacks, "Bamba" (バンバ). Bamba is a peanut flavored snack with two variations, the regular one and the relatively new, nougat-filled one!
An interesting fact about Bamba is that compared to other snacks, even from other countries, it is considered to be a healthy snack (of course there are much healthier foods overall). Basically, if you are looking for a snack and know that you are about to eat a "Happy meal" and not a "Healthy meal"– then Bamba is probably the healthiest among the other snacks. In fact, as I personally try to keep a workout routine and eat healthy, I can still make some time to enjoy a piece of Bamba every now and then.

There's also another type of Bamba which is red and sweet. Usually you either love it or hate it. The "RED Bamba".

Make sure to try these when visiting Israel!!! Which one do you think you will like most? Are you a Bamba person? Nougat? Maybe a Red Bamba fan
