Tuition: US$14,000 *
If you wish to pay tuition in US dollars cash, you must have the exact amount in dollars as indicated on your Tuition Payment Request Form, as we will not be able to give you change in dollars. US dollars cash or wire transfer(bank transfer) are accepted to complete the tuition payment.
Bank drafts, or cashier's checks, etc. are acceptable only if the check is written for the exact amount as indicated in your tuition payment request form.
Housing Fees **

For Residence Hall students, Reservation fee (2,000yen) is required in addition to the above fee. No meal plans are available. Resident Hall has kitchen facilities; students may prepare their own meals on a cost/meal basis.
For Homestay students, the host family will serve 16 meals/week (2 meals/day for Monday-Friday; 3 meals/day on weekends).
Domitory Security Deposit (Refundable): 30,000 yen
This refundable deposit is mandatory for Residence Hall residents regardless of their status, and will be reimbursed at the termination of residence at the dormitory after possible deduction based on the chedk-out inspection.
General Deposit: 10,000 yen
This is required of all participants regardless of their enrollment status. This deposit will be refunded upon termination of your studies at Kansai Gaidai, after all outstanding obligations are met.
International Student Fee (Mandatory): 10,000 yen
Mandatory Liability Insurance Fee: 1,000 yen
All international students are required to join our mandatory liability insurance plan which covers up to JPY100,000,000 (approx. US$1,000,000). Please refer to the Insurance section of this website for more information.
Materials Fee for a Studio Art Course : 10,000 yen
The payment request form for the materials fee will be given to the applicable students after their applications for the course are accepted.
